The Power Of Music

Music is a universal word. It can reach deep into the human spirit. Melody can change a mood in an instant. It can inspire creativity, or take us to the depths of despair. Music can calm inner turmoil or set the pace for revolution and violence.

Intelligence research shows tune is an emotional anchor. Do you keep in mind Trishia Year wood’s "the Song remembers when?" How many times have you listened to a song that transported you back in time - a memory of a first date, your wedding, a break-up, or maybe a vacation?

Many indigenous tribes use music to tutor their youngsters. When touring the Polynesian Cultural center in Honolulu, HA, it was fascinating to listen to how the Moari's of New Zealand basically used music as their children's teaching tool. They also combined a series
of hand and finger travels, plus the stick game set to music, to develop eye - hand and coast harmonization that girls would use in their sewing and family skills, and boys in their hunting and statue skills.

The Beauty Of Music

The mighty music is very impotent. Music is an art form whose medium is sound and silence. Its common elements are pitch(which governs melody and harmony), rhythm (and its associated concepts tempo, meter, and articulation), dynamics, and the sonic qualities of timbre and texture. The word derives from Greek μουσική (mousier; "art of the Muses").
The creation, performance, significance, and even the definition of music vary according to culture and social context. Music ranges from strictly organized compositions (and their recreation in performance), through improvisational music to electric forms. Music can be divided into genres and subgenres, although the dividing lines and relationships between music genres are often subtle, sometimes open to individual interpretation, and occasionally controversial. Within "the arts", music may be classified as a performing art, a fine art, and auditory art. There is also a strong connection between music and mathematics.
